HUMAN HARMONY MANDALA

The intention of this Mandala is to bring together all cultures, all ages, and all religions and have them join together in unity and harmony. A Mandala is translated to mean a magical, sacred and holy circle which consists of geometric patterns. This ‘Harmony’ Mandala will be painted on the oval at the Machans Beach Primary School and will be approximately 20 mtrs x 20 mtrs big. The lines painted on the oval will provide the guidelines for people to lay down and thus form the Human Harmony Mandala.

The process of people taking their position on the mandala will be organised as a Ceremony so that all feel the Sacredness of what they are apart of and will also include musicians and dancers. We are aiming for a minimum of 144 people to be part of this mandala and envision that those involved will pay a small registration fee as a commitment to being part of this mandala. This fee will go towards covering the cost of the event and will also cover those people being part of preparatory workshops leading up to the event, if they choose to attend. This ceremony will begin at 4pm and will take about an hour and a half for all those involved.
